My name is David Prentice, I’ve been a techno type since before most of you were born. I come from the age of computer programs on punch cards and magnetic tape, slide rules and analog adding machines.

I am currently a moderator for Chris Pirillo’s live video stream. I am also participate in many IRC networks, mainly, WyldRyde.org, Mcintec.net, and TechToKnow.net. At TechToKnow I am an IRC operator and help out with new chats and keeping the network safe.
I also take photos of lots of stuff I find interesting, from local scenery to stuff I work on. I have been getting setup for this whole video revolution, including live streaming via Ustream. You can find my Ustream channel here.
Broadcast Setup:
I’m using a Panasonic PS-G320P DV video cam. It has 3CCD for magnificent picture quality. With Webcammax and the Flash Media Encoder.
Cameras:
I also have a Canon HG-10 Hi Definition Camcorder with a 40 gig hard drive. With wide-angle and telephoto converters. And the extra batteries and accessories.
The still camera is the Nikon D-70. I have two Sigma zoom lenses for it, a 70-300mm and a 28-90mm for framing shots.
Computers:
I”m presently using a custom desktop built a few years ago running XP Pro:
Intel Pentium 4 3.0E processor with 1mb L2 cache
2 gigs of PC800 RAM
XFX 7950GT video with 512mb of video RAM
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
Asus My Cinema VIVO, TV, and FM tuner
1.5 tb of hard drive space, 2 Lite-On Lightscribe DVD drives.
And a floppy.
